  It’s been a busy couple of weeks for tying together the disparate pages and services that most of know as ‘the web’ – and the identities, preferences and profiles of those who use and browse it. Facebook’s announcements this past week have rightfully gotten tremendous attention, Twitter has been busy, and Salesforce.com made an equally important – if less-understood – move with its acquisition of Jigsaw. The battle for owning identity across the web – and mobile as well – is in high gear. What do Google, Apple and Microsoft have planned?
